About Simply Wills and Trusts Ltd
We appreciate that you, like most clients, want to ensure that the value of your estate is preserved during your lifetime and passes to (or is protected for) your chosen beneficiaries, as intended when you die.
As professional advisers with over 20 years’ experience, we pride ourselves on working in a principled manner, that focuses on helping our clients achieve their estate planning goals.
Whilst you may have clear wishes of who you would like to benefit from your estate (such as a lifetime partner, family members, good friends or particular charities) we are also sure that you may have equally strong opinions regarding who you would not want to benefit from your hard-earned wealth (such as the tax office, long-term care providers or possibly certain individuals).
Your thoughts and wishes will undoubtedly be based upon many different factors, ranging from your own past experiences, decisions made by parents and other family members or from what you may have witnessed or discussed with friends/acquaintances. As a result, your wishes are very personal to you but experience would suggest that there will most likely be an underlying basic desire to protect what you have worked hard to achieve.
We believe that every adult should consider how to maintain their estate during lifetime and ensure its efficient distribution upon death.
We aim to:
1. Understand you, both financially (in respect of the value of your estate today and what it might become) as well as on a more personal level (in respect your future plans, current concerns and eventual wishes).
2. Agree and prioritise your wishes.
3. Propose our ‘Ideal Estate Planning Strategy’, which we feel best suits your identified plans/wishes (so that you can fully appreciate the options available to you).
4. Agree a ‘Personal Estate Planning Strategy’ based on what can be achieved today (where certain factors mean that the ‘Ideal’ strategy may not currently be achievable).
5. Provide a review at mutually agreeable points in time to confirm continued suitability of the ‘Personal’ strategy or move closer to the ‘Ideal’ strategy, as circumstances allow.
In short, we want you to have the peace of mind that you have done what you can to protect and preserve your wealth for yourself and your chosen beneficiaries – please call us to find out more.
